# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It's ready faster than you'd expect, yet feels intentional enough to impress without trying.
  • The warm, salty feta melts just enough to coat every bite while the tomatoes collapse into something almost jam-like and concentrated.
  • It bridges the line between a proper snack and a light meal, so you can eat it whenever your mood strikes.
02 -
  • The feta won't fully melt into a puddle, and that's exactly right; you want soft pockets of cheese, not a blanket, so the texture stays interesting.
  • If your bread is more delicate than crusty, toast the slices lightly before adding toppings to give them structure to lean on.
03 -
  • Toss your cherry tomatoes while the oven preheats so they release their juices before hitting the bread; this prevents sogginess and deepens flavor.
  • Tear basil by hand rather than cutting it, especially if you have time; the leaves bruise less and stay greener and fresher looking on the plate.
