# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It tastes like tiramisu but you can drink most of it, which somehow makes it feel less guilty.
  • Takes barely fifteen minutes from craving to first sip, with no baking required.
  • Impresses people at home with minimal effort because it looks and tastes like a fancy coffee shop creation.
02 -
  • The two-minute soak time is sacred, any longer and your beautiful biscuits become soggy paste, any less and they don't absorb enough espresso flavor.
  • Always whisk the mascarpone mixture cold, room temperature mascarpone gets grainy and separates instead of creating that silky texture.
03 -
  • A light touch with the cocoa powder makes it look sophisticated, but don't be shy, a generous dusting is what makes it feel special.
  • If your mascarpone has been sitting in the fridge for weeks, smell it before using because tired mascarpone creates a sour note that ruins the whole balance.
